We have experienced recent significant growth and the current demand is requiring further development. Our full manufacturing facility is all on the one site with over 55 staff.

Established in 1979, Grainline continued to be a family owned and managed business dedicated to all our customers by delivering a fully backed quality product.  We are renowned for dependable Augers built for Australian farmers.

To achieve new heights, Grainline is adding leadership experience to every department in our business. The focus of this recruitment is to strengthen the operation management to increase production output to meet the ever-growing demand.

About The Position

We have an exciting full time position to join our senior leadership team! As the Manager of the Sales and Marketing team, the Key Responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Strategically forecast, plan, and direct the sales and marketing activities
  • Provide hands on support to the sales team and assist with building customer orientated relationships out in the field with dealers and end-users.
  • Strategically develop marketing solutions and systems that fulfil the missions and the goals of the sales team within planned budget.
  • Aligning a focus with the overall targets of the sales team, coach, mentor, and develop employees, including overseeing new employee onboarding

About You

You have a minimum of five years experience in a sales and/or marketing role with knowledge of agricultural machinery being an advantage.  You have demonstrated ability to develop and lead high performing Sales and/or Marketing teams with a proven analytical ability and understanding of key measures to manage performance results. Your proven experience providing leadership, direction, support and motivation to internal teams and external resellers has made you a well-rounded manager.

In leading the front line team representing the Grainline business and brand to the market and customer base, you understand the values and culture that has been established here and are determined to carry forward and seek out further developments of the business.

You are competent in using CRM programs and presenting insights, reporting and database management to provide customer intelligence for informed decision-making. You are able to optimise and measure campaigns to increase customer engagement and revenue opportunities for the overall business.

Through your experience of practicing delegation skills, knowing the importance of positive engagement, constructive development, encouraging empowerment and accountability among team members, you are a confident leader in establishing stakeholder management and building effective relationships. 

You are highly efficient in multi-tasking, organising and interpersonal skills, and have a ‘can do’ attitude where your passion and energy captures and lifts those around you. Matched with your advanced IT skills and the ability to drive technological innovation, you have the core components to assist the improvement of all areas within the business.
