About the Position:

We have an exciting full-time position in our team to service (outside of harvest) and repair (during harvest) Bunker Auger Bases. During the off season, the Service and Maintenance Technician will also work within the manufacturing team assembling componentry to complete fully assembled bunker bases and augers. The Service and Maintenance Technician, when required, will also assist the logistics team in delivery to customers.

Reporting to the Bunker Coordinator, they Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Assist when required, the delivery, installation & commissioning of Bunker Augers on Customer’s sites in scheduled time frame.
  2. Ensuring operational and maintenance procedure training are conveyed to Bunker Base customers on delivery.
  3. Servicing and repair of Bunker Augers at customer sites.

About You:

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a current HC license (unrestricted desirable)
  • Have a Forklift license (desirable)
  • Have proven mechanical, welding and fitting knowledge and aptitude through experience and/or qualifications.
  • Ag industry and machinery knowledge/experience to perform inspections, preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs.
  • Mechanical service work including scheduled service, rebuilds and breakdowns.
  • Be available for travel away from home.
  • Provide callout support outside of normal working hours and during holiday periods at harvest time.
  • Have a positive and customer service focused character.
  • Have good problem-solving skills and initiative to find solutions.
  • Be physically fit and healthy.
  • Align with the company’s values and mission statement.
